In less than one week, I'll be lounging around, laughing my head off with my VC girls. Have I seriously only seen them twice in the past year? How is that even possible?? Oh, right b/c between the four of us:
*4 husbands with varying work schedules/commitments
*4 girls living in 3 different towns
*8 children with one more due in the next 4 weeks
*7 of those 8 children are 3 or under
Do you know how difficult it is to coordinate our schedules??? We plan for months to get this done. I am so excited to see them, even if just for a few hours!!! These girls have known me practically my whole life. They know the good, the bad and the ugly...dear, sweet girls that they are can still make me laugh like no one else. You can bet your britches we'll be doing an overnight getaway as soon as no one is preggo or nursing a baby...which at this rate, could be a LONG time. But, I think after new baby arrives, 3 of the 4 are done having babies, so the odds are starting to fall in our favor.
